Jay and I met in 8th grade and he always says he knew we would marry someday, I often wonder if he isnt just saying that to make me feel good but if he is well then it is working.

We went to school in Hayward, Wisconsin which is a very small town in Northern Wisconsin. I loved it there and it is my dream to someday retire there.

Jay and I became very close in 8th grade and I looked to him as one of my best friends. He used to always ask me to go out with him and I would just shake it off and act like he was just joking. I remember one time writing in my journal that I was always afraid to date him as I just knew that we would never break up and I guess at that age I just wasnt sure if I was ready for that. I dated others and they never seemed to live up to what I expected..Hee Hee, and then I dated his best friend. Well, I guess this was the beginning of Jay and I because that relationship did not last long and it ended up that Jay and I finally got together. I was right about staying together forever as I just feel in my heart that we are soul mates. :)

We dated all the way through high school and in our 11th grade my family decided to move to Georgia. Well, we tried everything to get Jays family to allow him to move with us as at this time he had all ready proposed to me. His mother felt it was not a good idea :( so we parted for approximately 3 months. I think that looking back today I know that this was probably the best thing that couldve happened to us as it just proved who we were and who we wanted to be, and that was to be a couple and be married. He I guess you could say ran away from home right around my birthday and came down to Georgia, his brother helped him to get to the airport where I had all ready bought him a ticket. He was with me for a week when his mother decided that again was not a good idea and he was on his way back to Wisconsin for another month. She promised that if he would finish 11th grade there she would finance his way to come back and stay permanently with us in Georgia. She lived by this promise and he was there in June.

Now my family just loved Jay and wanted him with us as much as I did. Although my father didnt always feel that way as at the beginning he didnt accept Jay like I wouldve liked him to, but he came around in no time once he got to know him. My mother loved him from day one, I guess its that charm of his....**cough cough** hee hee.

Well, all this happened in 1981, and we had decided we would marry as soon as I turned 18 which of course was a little less then a year later. Well, one night my father sat us down and gave us his blessing to get married when we would like to. So it did not take us long to decide that October 25th would be the date. For no special reason that date, it was just a date at that time.

So October 25, 1981 was our day, and to this day remains the happiest day of my life.

We lived in Georgia for a little while longer then his mother bought us a 5th wheel and we went to Texas to meet her and ended up travelling for a little bit as she owned a large 5th wheel and I we really enjoyed that, although as I look back I dont believe I appreciated it as much as I should have as I was so young and given the chance to do it again I know I would love it even more. For that little bit of time Jay and I were alone and really didnt know that we should be taking advantage of our time together as it wasnt too long after that we had our first little darling.

Jay and I knew we wanted kids and never really discussed how many, we just knew we wanted them. When we had Michelle it was so exciting although we were so young we still knew how special she was to us and to this day she proves that daily.

We after s awhile ended up giving up the 5th wheel and moved back to Georgia and stayed for a while till we ended up moving back to Wisconsin again, when not long after our 2nd was born. Jennifer was such a blessing to us and Michelle was just the best big sister even though she was only 15 months old when Jennifer came along.

We stayed in Wisconsin for quite awhile after Jenn was born, and then I became pregnant again and along came our angel, Danielle. She blessed us for 16 days before God decided he needed her with him.

After we lost Danielle, our lives just didnt seem to add up anymore in Wisconsin, so once again we moved back to Georgia.

We seemed to be doing really well when tragedy struck once again and I found out that my mother was sick. This was such a trying experience for all of us most of all my mother who has always been one of the strongest people I know. Well, she proved it to me once again and beat breast cancer, and I thank God he was with her during that time as I just do not know if I couldve gone on without my mother also, who to this day I still consider my very best friend.

We didnt know after losing Danielle if we could ever have another baby as we were so afraid of replacing her and knew that that just could not happen. Well, God answered our question for us and blessed us with our Ashley, and although it was a scary time because of what happened to Danielle we just knew that what was meant to be would be and she was meant to be with us and again we are thankful.

Just a couple years later Jessica came along and after having Jesi we decided that we were finished having babies and Jay and I decided that he would have a vasectomy. Well, I need to rephrase that and say that I actually gave him no choice. He did it willfully, but I dont know if he would have if I hadnt insisted on it.

Well, this brings me to now, we live in Florida and are very happy. We have bought our first real home and are watching our babies grow into their own people. Please visit their pages as they are very special girls and definitly worth getting to know.
